The Magnolia’s Memory Care Household March Look Back

Its been a joyful month with new activities happening at The Magnolia’s Memory Care Household. We had our first dinner outing which was at the Dinner Bell! It was delicious and they gave the folks such a large quantity of food! The folks enjoyed it so much that they already asked where they are going next month! So, stay tuned to see where we go next month!

We had two performers this month Gabriella and BLT. They both did a great job and the folks really enjoyed listening to them sing!

The Magnolia folks have been busy with craft activities, baking group, and physical activities which is definitely their favorite! For St. Patrick’s we made rainbows out of pipe cleaner, marshmallows, and fruit loops.

We already began to start some Easter craft activities. We used Styrofoam eggs, mod podge, and tissue paper to make beautiful glossy Easter eggs. The folks really enjoyed the activity which got them into the spirit of Easter.  For baking group the folks have been making chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, snickerdoodles etc. We usually have baking group every Tuesday for the folks which is a great hands on activity!

On Friday, April 19th The Magnolia is having an Easter egg hunt at 2:00. Please invite your family, friends, and the community to this fun event! We are also asking donations for plastic Easter eggs, egg gathering baskets, candy or non-edible Easter items.
