The Magnolia’s April Look Back

April has been a month of new adventures along with tons of rain and sunshine here at The Magnolia! We started the month with Stan Barton along with his daughter whom performed at The Magnolia. Along with Stan, Saved by Grace, Mike Dennehy, and Rick Bruening also performed! The folks absolutely love having them here to perform.

We went on a couple of adventures this month. Frewsburg opened a new restaurant called Basil and Bones. Furthermore, the folks tried the new restaurant and they had very delicious food! We all really enjoyed the food and the amount of food they gave us! We also traveled to the Dinner Bell which was fantastic and one of Frewsburg’s favorites! We had our second take out Tuesday this month. This month we had AJ’s Texas Hot’s which was personally delivered back to the folks here at The Magnolia.

We also had a couple of JCC OTA students who volunteered here at The Magnolia this month. The folks sure enjoyed having them here with us for a couple of days. The students planned a craft activity with the residents and they taught the residents on how to make sock bunnies!

We also had our Easter Party this month. The folks enjoyed some delicious Easter dirt cake and cupcakes. We all had a great time. We also had our birthday party and this month we celebrated three resident’s birthday’s and one staff birthday!

The Magnolia also celebrated their 4th annual Easter Egg Hunt. We had a great turnout! It was a chilly day but that did not stop us from continuing our Easter Egg Hunt!

Overall, we had a very busy month and we can not wait to see what May has in store for us! If you have any questions call Teah Bines at 716-569-3095 Ext. 6714 or email at [email protected]
