The Magnolia Memory Care Household May Lookback

May, what a great month this was! We had our rainy days as well as sunny days, which brought some heat. We had some fantastic musical performances by some of The Magnolia’s favorite performers. The first musicians to play for us this month was the Larsen Family, who helped us kick May off the right way with some fun songs and all around good music. Next up we had Aaron and Boaz Mecham who played some fantastic songs from multiple decades on their violins and our piano. Rick Bruening and Russ Keyser also came on separate occasions to play some folk and rock music on their guitars.

We enjoyed many games here at the Magnolia’s Memory Care Facility this month. We have some athletes here, so of course we had to get in some fun games of Bean Bag Toss, Ladder Ball, and Ring Toss. On top of having athletes, we have bakers. Every Tuesday night this month our residents got in the kitchen and baked cookies, which everybody enjoyed at coffee house! To finish off our busy month, we had a big birthday party with the Assisted Living residents. The party consisted of cake, cookies, music and lots of socializing. We also enjoyed a delicious Memorial Day Lunch with BBQ Firemen’s Chicken, potato salad, vegetable salad, and some juicy watermelon!

With so many great things that happened this month, we can’t wait to see what great things will go on in June! If you have any questions or comments about any upcoming activities please┬ácontact Jordan in Activities at 716-569-3095 Ext. 6714 or email at [email protected]
