Memory Care Households at the Frewsburg Rest Home November Look Back

We made it! The doors are open and we have folks making use of the new addition to our beautiful facility. If you haven’t been over to check it out, make sure you stop by for a tour just to see what all the fuss has been about!

Although we’ve only had just a month together we spent some time getting to know each other with word games, trivia and Pictionary. We also enjoyed staying active with games like shuffleboard and bowling. I think we might have a secret bowling league here in the Memory Care Household, shh, they are really good!

We also enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday complete with family and friends stopping by to join us or take their loved ones out for the holiday. We are so happy we get to spend this time together. It is so wonderful to see the happy faces and wonderful smiles that surround good food, friends and family at the holidays. We can’t wait for the next big celebration at Christmas.

The folks here in the Memory Care Household also spent some time getting out and about, they took the time to go to coffee house, attend concerts including BLT which we all enjoyed. The residents are enjoying taking part in the activities here at the Frewsburg Rest Home. As we continue to get to know your loved ones we spend time doing manicures and baking together. These moments are so precious. We can’t wait to spend more time together doing all the activities December has to offer.

As December approaches we look forward to holiday decorations, beautiful lights, tasty treats and more celebrations.
