Memory Garden January Look Back

As we look back at January we had many great concerts starting with Angelo, Rick Bruening, Saved by Grace, Cindy Sue and Lucille Shurkus. They all were wonderful and residents enjoyed each and every one of them. The residents always have a great time singing and dancing to music! After one of the performances, one of the residents commented on how awesome it was. That made everyone happy.

We went out on an outing for lunch at Applebee’s. The residents that attended absolutely enjoyed themselves. They simply loved to be able to pick out what they wanted to eat.

We had a wonderful cowboy as our fundraiser for the month of January. Fun was had by all. We had delicious hot dogs, meatballs, calico beans, chips, and salsa. YEEHAW!

We did some great activities this month. We did marble painting with the residents which they really enjoyed. We also did bowling, putt-putt golf, baking, a blues day with all the activities pertaining  to blue even milkshakes which everyone loved. We made an awesome sundae bar! That was a big hit. Our tea party was out of this world. The ladies really enjoyed it. We even had our very own tea hats to wear. So fun!  We also had an inside snow ball fight with fluffy snow balls. We did twister and a sing-a-long.
