Memory Care Household May Look Back
As we look back on May, everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather we are slowly getting here in Memory Care Households.
We have enjoyed a lot of entertainment this month. We started out with our very own Golden Gems concert. All the residents really enjoyed it. Then we had the wonderful King’s Express who play some great music and enjoy telling us jokes . We welcomed the wonderful pianist, Jeaneen Jaynes. It was her first time here and everyone enjoyed here and are looking forward to her return in June. We were entertained by Cindy Sue and Lucille Shurkus who are both wonderful!
We had the most festive Cinco De Mayo Party that you could ever have. We enjoyed salsa and chips plus we had the best Churro cupcakes ever! Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We had a magnificent birthday party with fun music and cupcakes. Everyone enjoyed singing to the music and dancing in their seats. We all had a grand old time.
The ladies have enjoyed our monthly Tea Party with cheesecake, tea and chocolate milk. Everyone loved the dessert and said it was out of this world. We made some chocolate covered pretzel sticks and yummy sprinkles. Everyone enjoyed them. We made some wonderful star cookies to enjoy for Memorial Day. We also made the most delicious pepperoni bread.
We enjoyed the best Memorial Day party ever. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed themselves. We also made some beautiful flags to share on our tables to make it more festive.
We went on an outing to the Fifties Diner which everyone really enjoyed. We also had a blast on a gorgeous spring ride around Bemus Point followed by a quick stop for a yummy ice cream cone!
We are looking forward to June so we can kick off our Summer Concert Series, go on some outside strolls, and some fun golf cart rides. We can’t wait for summer!!
