Comfort Today October look back

Comfort Today kicked off the fall season with a mausoleum tour at the Lakeview Cemetery. We were shown all the “notable sites”, and learned a lot of Jamestown’s local history.  We want to thank our cemetery tour guide for taking time out of his day to make our tour such a great experience!

The cooler weather has our members spending more time indoors (which mean playing a lot more indoor games). This month we played our usual games (such as corn hole), but we also enjoyed a lot of fun, and spooky fall games.

We had a lot of fun making treat bags for our Pre-K friends from the Zion Covenant Preschool program. We are always so excited to see their costumes as they parade through Tanglewood, Memory Garden, and Comfort Today on Halloween!

Our members had a spooktacular time decorating our monster cupcakes, and mini pumpkins for Halloween! The best part was taste testing the finished product!

Everyone looks forward to our monthly outing to go out to lunch. This month we went to the Springs Restaurant.  Our folks get really excited to go to The Springs Restaurant because they love their peanut butter pie!

We look forward to all the upcoming celebrations that come during the season of thankfulness, and giving. It is always nice to pause, and appreciate everything that we have to be thankful for.
