Memory Care Household November Look Back

Our Memory Care Households sure were busy with all the fun festivities throughout the month of November.

Our Veterans were honored with a luncheon hosted by Comfort Today. Everyone enjoyed the delicious food and were pleased with the amount of gratefulness residents and staff had for their service.

The Memory Care baking groups kept busy all November long making chocolate chip cookies as well as other delicious snacks. The residents also kept bust busy during craft clubs, creating wonderful keepsakes in honor of Thanksgiving.

Our households joined in on the Harvest Social fun, with the delicious Rice Krispie treat turkey legs, as well as the moist and ever so tasty, birthday cake during the November birthday party.

We enjoyed many musical guests this month. Among them were some old favorites such as Bart & Bumpy, The Lamberts, and Michael Dennehy. We also enjoyed Rick Bruening as he performed many silly songs about turkeys and heartfelt Thanksgiving stories. We also enjoyed and welcomed a new musical group, BLT and a special guest, Michael Moore, the son of one of our very own residents.

We got competitive playing games of ladder ball, bingo and got to partake in the Poke-a-turkey trivia game! We also got a chance to write what we are thankful for on a leaf to go on our Thankful tree.

Thanksgiving Day was enjoyed by all! We enjoyed every bit of our Thanksgiving meal and great company.
