Comfort Today December Look Back

The smell of peppermint hot cocoa, the sounds of Christmas music, and the anticipation of Christmas cookies fill the air as we decorate the Christmas tree to begin the holiday season.

Comfort Today is always excited to host the JHS Acappella Madrigal Choir for the holiday.  This year, we had a special moment when the choir director unexpectedly connected with a former music teacher of his.

Speaking of concerts, we are so proud to have one of our members featured as a soloist at our Golden Gems Christmas concert.  Way to go Bobby!

The holiday season wouldn’t be complete without our Christmas luncheon at the Sakura Buffet.  Our members always enjoy a “no cost” trip to the buffet.  It is a real treat to have so many different selections to choose from.

A visit from Santa Claus always lets us know that another Christmas is past.  This year, in addition to a gift from Santa, our members each received fleece blankets from the Salvation Army. We want to thank them for remembering our members.

As we celebrate our “friendsmas” holiday, we remember that “It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, but it’s who’s around it.”

The staff at Comfort Today want to express our appreciation for all the caregivers that have helped us to enrich the lives of our members in the year 2019.  We look forward to the upcoming New Year with excitement!
