Wrapping up the #HereToCare Campaign
At Culture Care Senior Living and The Tanglewood Group, our mission goes beyond providing exceptional care to seniors and supporting their families—it’s about creating a vibrant, supportive community that fosters connection and engagement. This commitment was on full display during our recently concluded #heretocare campaign, a series of events that brought together seniors, families, and the broader community in a celebration of care, compassion, and community spirit.
A Campaign Ending in Community
The #heretocare campaign three month campaign culminated in a weekend filled with events that showcased a core values of our mission, making a positive impact on the communities that we serve. We kicked off the weekend with a remarkable partnership with Collaborative Children’s Solutions, where we bought out the Tarp Skunks stadium to offer free admission to the season’s final home games. This bold initiative drew a record-breaking crowd of over 2,500 community members from Jamestown and Chautauqua County—the largest turnout the Tarp Skunks have seen in years.
The atmosphere was nothing short of electric, as attendees enjoyed “Oprah-style” surprises hidden under their seats, participated in exciting raffles, and contributed to fundraising efforts for the WNY Region Alzheimer’s Association. The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display that left the community in awe.
Reflecting on the Impact
Gary Rohinsky, our CEO and Owner, reflected on the success of the campaign: “At the heart of our mission is the belief that caring for our seniors is not just our job, but our honor. By giving back to the community, we’re not only fulfilling a core pillar of our mission but also reinforcing the values that define us as an organization.”
The event was a true community effort, coordinated by Zac Hnatyszyn, VP of Community Outreach, with invaluable support from Pat Smeraldo of Collaborative Children’s Solutions. Zac shared, “Our campaign’s final month was focused on community, and this event was a perfect example of what that means to us. Seeing the community come together like this, and being able to spread our mission, it’s something we’re incredibly proud of.”
Summer Sounds
The weekend didn’t end with the Tarp Skunks game. Over the following two days, we hosted the Summer Sounds event on our beautiful 4-acre campus at Tanglewood Manor in Jamestown. The event featured performances by local talent, creating a vibrant atmosphere where the community could gather, enjoy various theater performances, and spend quality time with family and friends.
Looking Ahead
As we reflect on the incredible success of the #heretocare campaign, we’re already looking forward to what’s next. Culture Care Senior Living is known for its annual campaigns that center around supporting seniors, their families, and the community. These campaigns are more than just events—they are a reflection of our deep commitment to making a difference.
Zac Hnatyszyn shared his excitement for the future, saying, “Plans for next year’s campaign are already in motion. We’re always looking for new ways to engage with and give back to our community, and I can’t wait to see what we’ll accomplish together.”
Upcoming Events
While we eagerly anticipate next year’s campaign, there are plenty of exciting events on the horizon. One such event is our much-anticipated Music for Mom: Vol 2 on Saturday, September 28th, at 2 PM at the park at Tanglewood Manor and Memory Garden campus. This event will feature the incredible musical duo Osborn Nash, raising awareness for Alzheimer’s and supporting caregivers in our community.
A Community Built on Care
The #heretocare campaign was a powerful reminder of what we can achieve when we come together as a community. It takes a team willing to go beyond what’s expected and a community eager to join forces and support one another. We are deeply grateful for the amazing individuals on our team and for our community partners who have been so eager to work together to make a positive impact.
As we continue to grow and serve, Culture Care Senior Living remains steadfast in our mission to care for seniors, support their families, and give back to the community. Together, we’re building a brighter, more connected future for our seniors and for the foundation around them.
Stay tuned for more updates and join us in our upcoming events as we continue to make a difference—one community at a time.
